About Us & Our Philosophy:
Kindergarten and preschool are the child's first experience in a wider and more demanding world outside the family environment, where they will meet new people. It is important that this experience is positive for young children and this is what we offer at Domantesori Private Kindergarten: To learn and develop in a pleasant, calm, structured environment, which will provide your child with social and emotional skills that will accompany them throughout their lives.
Our goal
is the excellent learning of the Greek and English languages. Children who come into contact with more than one language at a young age develop a global perception and problem-solving ability.
We transmit
to children the love of books, through our library, which is rich in both Greek and English books.
We love
physical exercise and a healthy diet. We provide our students with daily meals prepared on our premises with fresh and local products.
We support
the uniqueness of each child and for this reason our school promotes the values of tolerance and respect.
We develop
and implement the “Domantesori Private Kindergarten Value System” in our Kindergarten in order to improve the social behavior of children and combat aggressive behavior and the phenomenon of bullying.
We aim
at the social education of children, because their first school experience is the one that will help them understand the world around them and the definition of a “good citizen”.
We love
music. All children come into contact with numerous musical instruments in the music room.
We love
animals. We encourage children to learn about animals and to respect their rights.
We respect
the environment. We focus on raising awareness and participation of children in energy conservation, recycling and other environmental programs.
We want
to work with you to encourage children who are reluctant to join the group – as many children find their first contact with school overwhelming. For this reason, we are implementing a program with which we approach your children according to their learning needs.
Our goal
is to help children socialize and communicate two-way with adults, in a positive and constructive way. Communication and socialization of children is the quintessence of our school program.
We consider
questions as the best way to learn and we accept all of them. Curiosity is a basic characteristic of children. No question is a joke! Our desire is to maximize cognitive skills and how to provide solutions to problems.
We strive for excellent partnerships – we believe that children are best served by a school that emphasizes excellent collaboration and communication between parents, teachers and other partners.
But above all,
we aim to develop the social skills, self-esteem and tolerance of our children. Using educational methods that have the greatest impact on the motor, cognitive, linguistic, social and emotional development of each child.
